Opticomm offers a range of Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceiver modules for use with a
variety of Opticomm systems. When integrated with Opticomm systems, SFPs can be used to
provide for optical wavelength conversion, switching, routing, optical budget amplification,
and simply to accommodate requirements for additional optical ports.
System Design
A number of SFP variations are offered below, each of which have been tested and confirmed
by Opticomm to comply with Opticomm systems. SFPs can accommodate Multimode or
Singlemode fiber and simplex or duplex transmission at the wavelengths ranging within the
1270nm-1610nm spectrum. Standard wavelengths (850, 1310 and 1550) along with CWDM
and DWDM versions are available. If your wavelength requirement is not specified below,
please contact your Opticomm representative to determine the most appropriate SFP for
your application.
