1550nm 10Gb/s EA Modulated DFB Laser Module.
1. DESCRIPTION
OL5170M is a 1550-nm electro-absorption (EA) modulated DFB laser (EMwL) module for 10 Gb/s
applications. The package contains an EMwL chip, an optical isolator, a rear-facet monitor photodiode,
and a thermoelectric cooler.
2. FEATURES
• High temperature operation of EMwL (T

• Low dispersion penalty over 40 km (800 ps/nm) for 10 Gb/s operation.
• Large dynamic extinction ratio .
