SURFACE MOUNT
PICO surface mount units utilize materials and methods to withstand extreme temperatures of vapor phase, I.R.,
and other reflow procedures without degradation of electrical or mechanical characteristics.
Specifications
All units manufactured to MilPRF27, Grade 5, Class S (Class V 155°C available).
Dielectric Strength...1500 Volts RMS
Windings Balanced ± 1%
Maximum ambient plus temperature rise limited to 130º C.
Inductance Tolerance: Minimum inductance is 80% of list value with no maximum value.
Moisture Sensitivity Level: MSL3
These inductors are well suited for use in Switching Regulators, DC to DC Power Supplies, and all
types of Electrical Equipment where the elimination of line transmitted Electromagnetic Interference
is important. Electrical equipment will generate noise due to switching operations of transistors,
SCR's, replays, triacs, etc. By using these Inductors, noise being fed to the power line is minimized
to an acceptable level and this noise will not interfere with other equipment operating on the same
power line.
