Sensor-Actuator-Interface (SAI) Cable

for Continuous Flex Applications

NEW

All of the new Sensor-Actuator-Interface (SAI) High Flex

cables are available in 3-, 4- and 5-pole versions as plug-

and-play assemblies with M12 or M8 male or female

connectors, for reduced installation and maintenance

time. For applications that require on-site custom cable

assembly, PUR/PVC and halogen free PUR/PUR bulk

cable is available in 100-meter lengths. Combined with

Weidmuller customizable connectors, users can create

reliable and customized cable assemblies easily and

quickly for a full range of C-track and motion applications.

Weidmuller SAI High Flex cables are UL and CSA

approved. They feature a neutral black jacket that is oil,

grease and lubricant resistant, allowing them to be

installed directly on the machine.

PUR Cable:

• Recommended for C-track applications

• Rated for over 2 million cycles

• Halogen free

• UL and CSA approved

PUR/PVC Cable:

• Recommended for C-track applications

• Rated for over 20 million cycles

• PUR/PVC material

• UL and CSA approved

Weidmuller’s new high flex cables have been designed

and tested in C-track applications, where the cable

continuously rolls back and forth, over 2100mm at

1.75m/s and an acceleration reaching 50m/s

. The

halogen free PUR/PUR cables achieved a rating of

2 million cycles and the standard PUR/PVC cables

are rated at 20 million cycles.
