The USB-511 system extends USB 1.1
connections up to 500 meters (1650 ft.)
over two strands of multimode fiber,
providing support for up to four (4) USB
devices.
System Design
The USB-511 transmitter (XMT) and
receiver (RCV) units come as a compact
stand alone system.
Features
• Supports USB 1.1 (low speed , full speed)
devices up to 12 Mb/s.
• USB-511 Receiver (RCV) is equipped with
4 USB ports.
• Extends USB 1.1 connections up to 500
meters (1650 feet).
• Provides support for both low-power and
high-power USB devices.
• Power adapters are available for 110V or
110-240V applications.
• Fully compliant with USB 1.1 Specification,
as certified by the USB Implementers
Forum.
• Number of devices can be increased using
standard hubs.
