The Opticomm™ FORC-404 offers tactical fiber optic connectors for deployable fiber optic
communication requirements. These connectors are designed to be the industry's most rugged
connector providing easy maintenance and the best possible optical performance.
System Design
Our line of FORC-404 hermaphroditic connectors allow the ultimate in flexibility. FORC-404 plugs can
function either as a plug or a receptacle to fit any system design. With these connectors, cable
assemblies can be daisy-chained together to provide the required length of cable for each specific
deployment condition. The interface meets the requirements of SMPTE Standard 358M.
