Freescale’s Xtrinsic FXOS8700CQ 6-axis sensor is comprised of advanced
component level features, specifications and compensation software algorithms
producing industry-leading compass solutions.

Unpack the Board
• Unpack the board. Verify package
contents according to the kit website:
freescale.com/sensortoolbox.
• The kit is comprised of a 6-axis
sensor (single-package accelerometer
and magnetometer) PCB and
two adapter PCBs to enable
communication with a PC over USB.
Assemble the PCBs ensuring that the
pin 1 arrow on the sensor PCB is
adjacent to the pin 1
arrow on the
adapter PCB.

• Visit freescale.com/sensortoolbox
to download the required software.
• his Sensor Toolbox kit requires a

specific driver. Visit ftdichip.com/
FTDrivers.htm to download and
install the latest VCP drivers for your
platform.

Power Up
