Description
Short-circuit-proof cables, e.g., type NSGFÖU, are usually
crimped with ferrules without an insulating collar. The
function of the insulating collar is then often performed by a
piece of shrink tube.
This complicated process is simplified considerably by
AI-XL…
ferrules. These ferrules have an insulating collar
with a diameter around twice the size as that of a ferrule
according to DIN 46228-4.
Optimum connection is ensured when crimped with the
appropriate tools from Phoenix Contact.
