If external power source is in the range of 4.5-12.5 V, current limit resistor R is not
required. If external power source exceeds 12.5 V, current limit resistor R must be
connected.
To calculate the current limit resistance use following equation:
R (Ω) = Vcc - (1.1+Ri x 0.005)
