Product Brief RBEPA and RWEPA

The connectBlue Rugged Bluetooth Ethernet

Port Adapter (RBEPA) and Rugged Wireless LAN

Ethernet Port Adapter (RWEPA) available with a

Bluetooth or a Wireless LAN 802.11b/g inter-

face. The Wireless Ethernet Port Adapters are

especially well-suited for mobile, rotating and

temporary installations where there is a need for

replacing the Ethernet cable with a robust and

maintenance-free wireless connection. Further,

the products are called “Intelligent antennas™”

thanks to the ease of use and cost efficiency

of the installation and configuration. Another

unique feature of the RBEPA and RWEPA is the

Low Emission Mode™ which solves potential in-

terference disturbances between Bluetooth and

Wireless LAN that is not handled by the Bluetooth

implementation of Adaptive Frequency Hopping.

The Wireless Ethernet Port Adapters are part

of the connectBlue product range of Wireless

Products in industrial housings.
