Starter Kits
The connectBlue OEM Serial Port
Adapter Starter Kits have been
developed to bring efficiency in
wireless application programming
for industrial needs. They provide
a quick start to implement either
a Wireless LAN or a Bluetooth
module from connectBlue. The kits
make configuration and testing
easy for the industrial application
programmer.
The kits enable the industrial application programmer to gain full
control of the connectBlue Wireless LAN or Bluetooth modules via
the connectBlue standard AT commands. The kits include all that is
needed and thus make easy configuration and testing of the wire-
less Serial Port Adapter module possible, and can also be used to
upgrade the firmware.
The Bluetooth or Wireless LAN stacks are incorporated in
the wireless Serial Port Adapter modules; and therefore, no addi-
tional software is needed in the computer. Besides the Serial Port
Adapter firmware, the Bluetooth Modules can also be equipped
with other firmware versions such as support for the Bluetooth File
Transfer Profile (FTP) and Object Push Profile (OPP), Bluetooth I/O,
repeater functionality and multi-point versions.
The kits are also available without wireless modules to be
combined with any of the connectBlue range of Serial Port Adapter
modules.
