With a bright 4.3” 480x272 LCD screen and powered by a 100MHz Renesas RX63-series MCU using direct
drive technology, the SIM225 can deliver an excellent front control panel experience for your product.
Standard high speed UART and power connectivity is provided by Serious 7-pin connectors -- perfect for
simple attachment to existing systems. Some variants have a 26 pin expansion connectors enabling easy
custom daughter-card development for more complex connectivity.
SIM225 is an Extended Lifetime Roadmap Product and is fully supported by the SHIP rapid GUI
development and deployment system, including SHIPv4 and v5.

Serious offers numerous communications daughter
cards for Serious Integrated Modules to help complete

Serious Communications Modules
(SCM117, SCM118
and SCM208, sold separately) dock into the back of
3rd and 4th Generation SIMs, providing connectivity,
9-25VDC to 5VDC power conversion for the SCM and
