600D
The 600D series offers a combination of an extended temperature range of 125 C and voltage
range of 250VDC. The unique Teflon
®
end-seal allows the 600D to have a long expected life with a
life test of 2,000 hours at 125 C. This high reliability capacitor is the commercial equivalent to the
MIL- C - 39018 / 01 style of military aluminum electrolytic capacitors. As a low cost alternative to
equivalent foil tantalum capacitors, the 600D is smaller and approximately 1/3 the weight of the foil
tantalum capacitor.
The 600D series capacitors are available with a standard polyester insulating sleeve with an optional
solvent proof resin end-seal required for exposure to halogenated cleaning solvents. Refer to the
Mini-Glossary for recommended cleaning conditions.

Leakage current: 0.15 CV (µA) for 5 to 75V or 0.15 CV 5 (µA) for 100 to 250V after
5 minutes at 25 C.
Standard capacitance tolerance: 10% to 50%.

Rated lifetime: 2,000 hours at 125 C.

subjecting them to the DC rated voltage for 2,000 hours at 125 C.

Shelf Test
The following specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitors are restored to 25 C after
exposing them for 500 hours at 125 C without voltage applied. The rated voltage shall be
applied to the capacitors for a minimum of 30 minutes, at least 24 hours and not more than
48 hours before the measurements.
