Power Chip Inductors - 0603PS Series
The 0603PS is Coilcraft’s smallest shielded inductor. It’s
ideal for power conversion applications where high induc-
tance, low DC resistance and electromagnetic shielding
are required.
Due to its simple wirewound construction, the 0603PS is an
especially attractive low cost alternative to larger, more
expensive shielded power inductors.
The ferrite body and shield permit very high inductance
ratings for a part this small: up to 47 µH. They also minimize
DC resistance and allow these ultra-small parts to carry up
to half an Amp!

2. Inductance measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, using a Coilcraft SMD-A
fixture in an Agilent/HP 4263B impedance analyzer.
3. Q measured on an Agilent/HP 4291 with an Agilent/HP 16193 test
fixture.
4. DCR measured on a micro-ohmmeter and a Coilcraft CCF840 test
fixture.
5. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and a
Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture.
6. DC current at which the inductance drops 10% (typ) from its value
without current.
7. Average current for 40°C temperature rise above 25°C ambient.
8. Operating temperature range –40°C to +85°C.
9. Electrical specifications at 25°C.
