is one of the factors which
determine the total inductance,
and a square chip such as
0505 or 1111 will have a lower
inductance than a conventional
rectangular style. This results
in higher resonant frequencies,
making them suitable for a
wide range of applications
including tuners, mixers, filters,
oscillators, RF power amplifiers
and tuning networks.
