SCN2681 DUART(Dual Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter)的自动唤醒模式是为多滴(multidrop)通信系统设计的,允许设备在接收到特定地址字符时自动唤醒。在这种模式下,主设备会发送一个地址字符,后面跟着数据字符,用于指定的从设备。从设备通常处于接收器禁用状态,以节省功耗,但它们会不断检测接收到的数据流以寻找地址字符。
当从设备的接收器检测到地址字符时,它会唤醒CPU(通过设置RxRDY状态位),然后CPU可以决定是否接收随后的数据字符。一旦接收到另一个地址字符,CPU可以选择再次禁用接收器,以重新启动该过程。
在自动唤醒模式下,接收器会持续监视接收到的数据流,无论其是否被启用。如果接收器被禁用,当检测到地址标记(A/D位为1)时,它会设置RxRDY状态位并将字符加载到接收FIFO中,但如果A/D位为0(数据标记),则接收器会丢弃接收到的字符。如果接收器被启用,所有接收到的字符都会被传送到CPU。
此外,接收器可以控制RTS(Ready To Send)信号的禁用。如果以这种模式编程,当有效起始位被接收且FIFO已满时,RTS信号会被否定。当FIFO有可用位置时,RTS信号会自动重新激活。这个特性可以用来通过将RTS输出连接到发送设备的CTS(Clear To Send)输入来防止接收器溢出。
要启用自动唤醒模式,需要在通道A或B的模式寄存器1(MR1A或MR1B)中设置相应的位。具体来说,需要将MR1A[4:3]或MR1B[4:3]编程为‘11’。在自动唤醒模式下,发送的字符包括起始位、数据位、地址/数据(A/D)位和停止位。A/D位的极性由CPU通过编程MR1A[2]/MR1B[2]来选择。如果MR1A[2]/MR1B[2]设置为0,则在A/D位位置传输0,表示相应的数据位是数据;如果设置为1,则传输1,表示相应的数据位是地址。CPU应该在加载相应的数据位到发送保持寄存器(THR)之前编程模式寄存器。
