The VRA_D-10W & VRB_D-10W Series are specially
designed for applications where a wide range input voltage
power supplies are isolated from the input power supply in a
distributed power supply system on a circuit board.
These products apply to:
1) Where the voltage of the input power supply is wide range
(voltage range≤2:1);
2) Where isolation is necessary between input and
output(Isolation Voltage
≤
1500VDC);
3) Where the regulation of the output voltage and the output
ripple noise are demanded.

DESIGN & APPLY CONSIDERATIONS
1) Requirement on output load
To ensure this module can operate efficiently and reliably, During operation, the minimum output load
could not be less than 10% of the full
load.
If the actual output power is very small, please connect a resistor with proper resistance at the output end in parallel to increase the load, or use
our company’s products with a lower rated output power.
2) Recommended circuit
All the VRA_D-10W&VRB_D-10W Series have been tested according to the following recommended testing circuit before leaving factory. This
series should be tested under load. Never be tested under no load (see Figure 3).
If you want to further decrease the output ripple, you can increase capacitance properly or choose capacitors with low ESR. However, the
capacitance can’t exceed the maximum capacitor load in the list (Table 1).

When it is used in unregulated power supply, be sure that the fluctuating range of the power supply and the rippled voltage do not exceed the
module standard. Input current of power supply should afford the startup current of this kind of DC/DC module. (Figure 4).

To ensure this module operate efficiently and reliably, It’s recommend to connect external capacitor in the application field.(see table 1)
5) No parallel connection or plug and play
Note:
1. The load shouldn't be less than 10%, otherwise ripple will increase dramatically. Operation under minimum load will not damage the converter;
However, they may not meet all specification listed, and that will reduce the life of product.
2. Max. Capacitive Load tested at nominal input voltage, full load and constant resistive load.
3. All specifications measured at Ta=25°C, humidity<75%, nominal input voltage and rated output load unless otherwise specified.
4. In this datasheet, all the test methods of indications are based on corporate standards.
