1008PS Inductors for xDSL Filters
Coilcraft’s new 1008PS Series is ideal for use in a variety of
filters, including the data separation filters used in VDSL and
ISDN/ADSL implementations.
They measure just 2.74 mm high and have very low DC
resistance to reduce insertion loss. The specially designed
ferrite cover provides magnetic shielding and the best
possible surface for pick and place handling.
Coilcraft offers reference designs for various xDSL filters
using these and other surface mount components. We can
also provide several complete low pass and band pass filter
modules in space-saving SIP configurations.

B
= Less than full reel. In tape, but not machine ready.
To have a leader and trailer added ($25 charge), use

= 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape.
Factory order only, not stocked (2500 parts per full reel).
2. Inductance measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, using Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in
Agilent/HP 4263B impedance analyzer.
3. Q measured on Agilent/HP 4291 with Agilent/HP 16193 test fixture.
4. DCR measured on micro-ohmmeter and Coilcraft CCF840 test fixture.
5. SRF measured using Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and Coilcraft
SMD-D test fixture.
6. DC current at which the inductance drops 10% (typ) from its value without
current.
7. Average current for a 40°C rise above 25°C ambient.
8. Operating temperature range
−40°C
to +85°C.
9. Electrical specifications at 25°C.
