RELIABLE 2-INPUT MULTIPLEXER
This quadruple two-input multiplexer with storage
provides essentially the equivalent functional ca-
pabilities of two separate MSI functions in a single
16-pin package. When the Word-Select (WS) input is
low, word one is applied to the flip-flops. A high Word-
Select input causes word two to be selected. The
with compound left-right capability
selected word is clocked to the output terminals on
the negative-going edge of the clock pulse. While the
SN54HC298 is functional over the full mili-
tary temperature range, the SN74HC298
is characterized for operation over indus-
trial temperature ranges (-40°C to +85°C)
