Application note
Two-channel LVDS repeater with the RHFLVDSR2D2
Jean-Louis Bernet
This application note summarizes how to build a simple two-channel repeater for low-voltage differential
signaling (LVDS) transmission.
The example given below is easy to implement using STMicroelectronics’s rad-hard device
RHFLVDSR2D2. This device holds the native components, two LVDS receivers, and two LVDS drivers.
The given example shows one data line and one clock line being regenerated, when long differential
lane distances are required.
