Highly-integrated complete 2 W stereo audio subsystem

The TS4982 integrates all analog and mixed-signal audio

functions needed in high-end PC notebooks or portable

audio multimedia applications.

The TS4982 uses an enhanced referenced-ground stereo

headset drive with independent shutdown control and

dedicated audio inputs for both outputs.

In addition, a built-in internal 4-step gain control for the

loudspeaker amplifier and a fixed 3.5 dB gain for the

headphone amplifier minimize external component needs.

The TS4982’s small 5x5 QFN package provides optimal

space saving on your PCB.

The TS4982 is intended for use with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. It is designed with an advanced

BICMOS process. The TS4982’s 3D-effect enhancement is programmed through a dual digital-input interface that

provides greater flexibility on each audio output channel.
