Description
The LCP-2488 CWDM series are designed
for coarse wavelength division multiplexing
applications (CWDM) and hot pluggable SFP
Applications
ATM switches and routers
SONET/SDH switch infrastructure
transceiver modules that data rates up to 2.67Gb/s.
xDSL applications
The LCP-2488 CWDM series are support OC-48/
Gigabit Ethernet
STM-16 as well as 2x Fiber channel (2.125Gb/s),
Switch to Switch interface
GbE (1.25Gb/s) and 1x Fiber channel (1.062Gb/s).
The selectiveness of center wavelength has 1470,
Switched backplane applications
1490, 1510, 1530, 1550, 1570, 1590, and 1610nm.
File server interface
The LCP-2488 CWDM series are designed to
be compliant with SFF-8472 SFP Multi-source
Performance
Agreement (MSA) with digital diagnostic
LCP-2488D4RxxR: 1470nm to 1610nm CWDM
monitoring functions: Temperature, V

DFB laser transmitter and APD receiver, 28dB
optical power, TX laser bias current, and RX
received optical power.
The post-amplifier of the LCP-2488 CWDM
series also includes a Loss of Signal (LOS) circuit
that provides a TTL logic-high output when the
received optical level is below a preset LOS
Assert threshold.
