Filter Tap Coupler
DiCon's Filter Tap Coupler is constructed using DiCon
Cylindrical Filter WDM packaging technology. The component
uses a thin film filter mounted between a pair of GRIN lens
collimators. DiCon's Filter Tap Coupler is housed in a compact,
environmentally stable package that offers superior resistance
to humidity and temperature and is suitable for mounting
within a line interface or amplifier gain module.

Applications
Tap Couplers with Corning SMF-28 fiber are designed for power
monitoring and splitting in line cards, amplifiers protections
switches, and OADMs. Tap Couplers with polarization maintaining
fiber are designed for power monitoring with signal or pump laser
sources that use PM fiber pigtails.
