LC Connector, a new standard in
high density connectors for applications of all types
T
he Methode 608 Series LC Connector introduces the next
generation of fiber optic connectivity. The innovative LC
design offers a form factor one-half the size of current
industry standards, and simple features create a new
definition of user-friendliness. Borrowing features from the
twisted-pair RJ-45 connector, the LC provides duplex
connections in 50% less space. The keyed plug self-guides into
place, assuring reliable connections. A latch mechanism makes
the connector pull proof and provides outstanding mechanical
load performance. Methode manufactures the LC to meet
EIA/TIA 568A, FOCIS 10 and IEC 11801 specifications for optical
performance and intermateability. The Methode LC is compatible
with SYSTIMAX™ and ExchangeMAX™ applications.
