Amphenol wideband couplers (WBC) precisely distribute
light signals between single mode fibers with low
insertion loss and exhibit stable environmental
performance in miniature and ruggedized packages.
Amphenol WBCs exhibit constant coupling ratios over a
wide wavelength operating range.

• Operating Wavelength Range: 1270 to 1590 nm
• Center Wavelength: 1310 and 1550 nm
• Coupling Ratios: 50% and 10% standard (custom
available)
• Directivity: < -50 dB
• Thermal Stability: <0.2 dB variation in insertion loss
• Polarization Stability: <0.2 dB variation in insertion loss
• Operating Temperature: -40°C to +85°C
• Port Configurations: 1x2 or 2x2
• Package Options: Miniature or ruggedized
• Fiber type: G652
• Cable: 250 µm coated fiber, 900 µm loose tube buffered
fiber or 3 mm jacketed fiber
• Lead Length: 1.0 m standard
• Connectors: FC, SC and ST
• Options: Premium IL and directivity performance
available
