The assembly is a replacement for:
• 64k non-volatile SRAM DS1225Y-150IND+ (Dallas Semiconductor)
• 256k non-volatile SRAM DS1230Y-120IND, DS1230AB-70IND+,
DS1230Y-70IND+ (Dallas Semiconductor), STK16C88-WF45I (Cy-
press Semiconductor Corp.)
Features
• Non-volatile asynchronous SRAM with 32k x 8 bits
• magnetoresistive RAM (MRAM) as non-volatile memory without re-
strictions in relation to the number of write cycles
• Battery to retain the memory contents no longer necessary due to
MRAM, regular replacement of the novram assembly not required
• Dimensions match the existing socket for the novram assembly to be
replaced
• Proven pin and functional compatibility with the novram assemblies to
be replaced (unused connections are terminated such that they can be
ignored).
