The Amphenol
Socapex singlemode
and multimode FC/PC
connectors have
been designed and
developped in order
to satisfy the
requirements of the
network telecom
applications.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
The high precision
manufactured
ceramic ferrules are
preradiused to reduce
the insertion loss and
back reflection.
The easy and quick termination process of the
Amphenol Socapex FC/PC connector is particularly
adapted to the cabling on the field (polishing without
machine).
It is fully compatible with the FC standard.
Technical description
• Typical insertion loss :
- Singlemode fiber : 0,3 dB at 1300 nm and 1550 nm
- Multimode fiber : 0,3 dB
• Typical back reflection (singlemode fiber)
< - 30 dB (PC interface, cabling on the battlefield)
< - 45 dB (super PC, Amphenol Socapex cabling)
