Ideal for high-quality low-cost digital AV recording
MPEG2 AV Encoder MN85572
Unit: mm
Overview
The MN85572 is a single-chip MPEG2 AV (audio and visual)
encoder*1 that integrates system functions conventionally
attained with a number of chips. This systematic LSI makes it
possible to construct low-cost, compact systems. Furthermore,
in long-time video recording mode (for low bit rate encoding),
the LSIs video encoding function ensures high-quality images.
The LSI with a single SDRAM makes MPEG2 AV encoding
processing possible. Therefore, this LSI is ideal for cost
reduction and downsizing of a variety of systems such as DVD
recorders, HDD-applied products, D-VHS VCRs and PCs with
multimedia functions.
