Meets MIL-STD-810 Immersion–
The nitrile O-ring and
a special epoxy wire sealing process allow GMDE
connectors to meet immersion requirements.
CMI
Tactical communications boxes must be sealed to prevent water ingress. Standard M83513 type Micro connectors can
be difficult to seal to a bulkhead. The flange is too narrow for a gasket, and sealing with RTV can be time-consuming
and messy. The Glenair GMDE connector with O-rings provide a better way to seal the connector.
