The HP series metal oxide varistors from UCC/NCC are designed for use in low voltage, high energy
applications. These varistors have a higher energy rating than the H series, while keeping a small
radial package size. When compared to other standard varistors, the HP series allows for a wider
operating temperature range from 40 C up to a maximum of 150 C. An ideal application for these
HP series varistors is in automotive control circuits where very high temperature parts are required.

significant figures, and the third digit indicates the number of zeros
