Regarding the change of names mentioned in the document, such as Mitsubishi

The semiconductor operations of Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric were transferred to Renesas
Technology Corporation on April 1st 2003. These operations include microcomputer, logic, analog

Preface
This user’s manual describes Mitsubishi’s CMOS
8-bit microcomputers 7630 Group.
After reading this manual, the user should have a
through knowledge of the functions and features of
the 7630 Group, and should be able to fully utilize
the product. The manual starts with specifications
and ends with application examples.
