DESCRIPTION
The SAT2830S is a low cost DC-DC converter designed for high reliability military
applications. The compact, 10-pin, hermetic, flanged-package incorporates all
components for EMI filtering and Input surge protection to meet MIL-STD’s 461 & 704.
The SAT2830S provides up to 30W of output power over the full military temperature
range of -55
o
C to +125
o
C. This new innovative design uses a synchronous flyback
topology with primary side feedback to achieve high efficiency and tight total output
regulation.
This converter is manufactured in a facility in Marlborough, Mass. that is fully qualified
to MIL-PRF-38534, Class H & K. The SAT2830S converters are available as COTS or
MIL-STD-883 screened devices.
