SCOPE
This specification covers the suppliers requirements and indications for AMP NETCONNECT* Copper
cable assemblies product mark.

APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
REMARK
Product drawing indications shall take precedence.

MATERIALS
Label PN 3-161183-4 or another Tyco Electronics approved label or print with the same specification
can be used.

LABELLING PROCESS

(Pre-printed cable only needs label, 1pr cable only needs label, Unprinted cable only need
cable printing,)
Pre-printed cable assembly label or cable print with the same specification should be positioned with the
text in longitudinal direction (parallel with cable length) according fig. 1 and 2 or 3. Clear and readable.
