Information
Shelf life - important to
rotate inventory.
Application Techniques
Low stretch polyester film
for machine, as well as
hand application.
Solvent clean-up of the
board is recommended to
facilitate subsequent
soldering.
Tape must be firmly
pressed down by equipment
with rubber covered rollers
or a rubber covered platen
press. Hand rolling usually
does not provide enough
pressure. A vivid outline of
the circuit leads indicates
adequate pressure was
used.
Applications
For masking printed circuit
boards during solder
stripping and precious metal
plating of fingers.
Splicing of silicone coated
papers.
FEATURES
Polyester backing.
ADVANTAGES
Reduces stretch and
recovery of tape and
associated uneven stop-off
line.
Reduces undercutting
because adhesive blocks
out solutions between
fingers.
Tape generally performs
better when no ovens are
used to heat tape and
boards.
Reduces adhesive transfer
to printed circuit board.
BENEFITS
Saves money by reducing
number of reject boards.
Thick adhesive coating.
Saves money by reducing
reject boards.
Specially designed
adhesive.
Saves energy and labour
costs.
Saves money by reducing
clean-up time.
