introduces its newest series of “Con-X” product, the Field Installable Shielded
Multi-Con-X
®
. This product was designed for field installations where:
•
Circuits must be protected from electromagnetic or radio frequency interference
•
Surrounding equipment must be protected from circuit emmittance
•
An earth ground must be carried via the cable shield through the
connector shell, coupling ring, and receptacle to ground (panel).
The Field Installable Shielded Multi-Con-X
®
offers a simple, unique method of completing
the shield between the cable and the connector housing (requiring no additional or special
installation tools). The backshell can be assembled with nothing more than a screwdriver.
