(A) Silicon Laboratories (Silicon Labs) is pleased to announce the successful qualification of King
Yuan Electronics Co. Ltd (KYEC) as the new Test Site and Shipping Location for the Si50XX Rev D
devices. KYEC is an existing approved test site for Silicon Labs, is certified to ISO9001, ISO14001and
ISO/TS16949 and is a Sony Green Partner. (B)
Shipment Media Change:
Per the effective date of
this PCN, for
non
Tape and Reel orders only, the shipment media will be in trays instead of tubes from
KYEC and existing Silicon Labs locations in Singapore and USA. Each tray contains 490 units in a 35
x 14 matrix configuration. The tray specification is included as attached with this PCN.

Reason for Change:
UTAC is discontinuing test support for the CDRs in 3Q12. In order to ensure continuity of supply,
KYEC has been qualified as the new test location for these products. KYEC is an existing qualified
test site for Silicon Labs’ Timing product families.
Impact on Form, Fit, Function, Quality, Reliability:
There is no impact to form, fit, function, quality or reliability. The same test equipment, including
ATE, test loadboard hardware and test application software will be used at KYEC as currently used
at UTAC.
