Function
The terminal is designed for use within an Inline
station. It is used for the output of digital signals
and offers the possibility of extended diagnostics
on every single channel for errors such as
overload, short circuit or open circuit (see
"Terminal Behavior in the Event of an Error" on
page 4).

Terminal Behavior in the Event
of an Error

In the event of an error (short circuit, overload or
open circuit) the terminal signals the errors as
follows:

On the terminal the red LED (E1, E2)
indicates the error
In the input process data a status bit is set,
In the terminal an error message is
generated and sent to the INTERBUS
master.

As soon as the error does not exist anymore, it
will automatically not be indicated anymore.
