MATERIALS
1. INSULATION SLEEVE: Heat-shrinkable, transparent blue, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene fluoride.
2. SOLDER PREFORM WITH FLUX AND THERMAL INDICATOR:
SOLDER:
TYPE Sn63 per ANSI-J-STD-006.
FLUX:
TYPE ROL1 per ANSI-J-STD-004.
THERMAL INDICATOR: Fusible ring, melt point: 221C.
3. MELTABLE RING: Environment resistant thermoplastic. Color:blue.
4. GROUND LEAD: MIL-W-22759/32-GA-CL. See part number guide for gauge and color information.

APPLICATION
1. These parts will provide a shield termination assembly which will meet the requirements of MIL-S-83519/2 when installed in
accordance with Raychem RCPS-100-70 on cables rated for at least 125C, meeting the dimensional criteria listed, having tin or
silver plated shields. See M83519 or consult Raychem for compatible insulation material.
2. Temperature rating: -55C to +150C.
For best results, prepare the cable as shown:
