Repulpable Barricade Tapes 500 Series are nominal 10-mil tapes, constructed
of a 100% cotton fabric. These reusable tapes are an excellent alternative to standard
barricade tapes for areas where plastics are prohibited.

Specifications
The tape shall be of good manufacturing quality in terms of appearance. It shall not
gap or telescope more than 0.1 inches when stored at temperatures below 49° It
C.
must be flexible or not be stiff or brittle in applications ranging from below 0° to

about 38° The tape must be removable from the rol l without difficulty.

The tape shall be smooth, uniform, and free of defects and irregularities. The print
shall be uniform, the lettering free of lumps, free of visibly large voids and foreign
materials. The warning words shall be legible, correctly spelled and fully printed. The
ink shall be dry, firmly bonded to the substrate, and not transferable to non-printed
parts of the film.
