44070 Conical Foam Swabs
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The
44070 Conical Sealed Foam Swabs
are
constructed from reticulated 100 pores per inch
medical grade polyurethane foam which features the
best open cell structure, providing excellent particle
entrapment characteristics. The head is thermally
bonded to the handle without using adhesives. The
conical head tapers to a fine point for precision
cleaning of hard to reach areas.
Traps surface particles while cleaning
Fiberless construction does not generate
loose fibers or particles
No adhesives or binders are used in the
construction
Good for tight tolerance work

COMPATIBILITY
Polyurethane Foam Heads are compatible with most
common solvents such as isopropyl alcohol and
methanol. Not recommended for use with ketones
such as acetone or methyl ethyl ketone.
Polypropylene, ESD Handles are compatible with
most common solvents and dilute or weak acids.

The ESD handles do not contain silicone, amides, or
static dissipative coatings. The proprietary copolymer
blend is not humidity dependent. The handles have
excellent chemical compatibility, even in acetone.
The swabs were tested by Particle Measurement
Technology. All the swabs tests were done using
the recommended practices of the Institute of
Environmental Science, Swabs and Wipes Working
Group.
