Product Description
Scotch
®
Filament Tape 890T is a high-performance transparent packaging tape
reinforced with continuous glass yarn filaments which gives the tape very high
tensile strength. The 3M™ Scotchpar™ backing provides excellent abrasion,
moisture, and scuff resistance. The adhesive is an aggressive packaging adhesive
specifically formulated to provide balanced performance, having both high adhesion
and long-term holding power.

Application Techniques
An extensive line of application equipment including hand-held dispensers and an
automatic L-Clip applicator is available. Application is most easily accomplished at
room temperature. At lower temperatures, approaching 32°F (0°C), the adhesive
becomes firm. Once applied, Scotch
®
Filament Tape 890T performs well throughout
the normal temperature ranges encountered by packaged products in shipping and
storage environments.
Storage Conditions
Store behind present stock. Store in a clean, dry place. Temperature of 40-80°F
(4-26°C) and 40-50% relative humidity are recommended. Rotate your stock.
Shelf Life
To obtain best performance, use this product within 18 months from date of
manufacture.
