ESCRIPTION
:
Space Electronics’ 18280RE is a radiation-hardened, 128 channel, analog
MCM multiplexer which connects a single output to one of the 128 input
channels depending on the state of a 7 bit binary address. This device
offers low constant “ON” resistance and does not suffer from latch-up, or
static discharge blow-out. The digital inputs are designed to operate from
both TTL and CMOS levels, without the need for pull-up resistors. This
device is fault protected and provides high isolation during power out
(typically 68 dB @ 100khz).
The 18280RE high-performance 128-channel multiplexer features a typi-
cal 100 krad (Si) total dose tolerance; dependent upon orbit. The 18280RE
is intended for use in the environments encountered by high reliability
spacecraft applications. The patented radiation-hardened

technology incorporates radiation shielding in the microcircuit package.
Capable of surviving in-space environment, the 18280RE is ideal for satel-
lite, spacecraft, and space probe missions. It is available with packaging
and screening up to Class K.
