C200 2.5-Inch NAND Flash SSD
General Description
General Description
Micron’s RealSSD solid state drive (SSD) uses a single-chip controller with a SATA
3 Gb/sec interface on the system side and n-channels of Micron NAND Flash internally.
Packaged in an HDD replacement enclosure, the SSD integrates easily in existing storage
infrastructures.
The C200 is designed to use the SATA interface efficiently during both READs and
WRITEs while delivering bandwidth focused performance. SSD technology enables
enhanced boot times, faster application load times, reduced power consumption, and
extended reliability.

Architecture
The 200-series SSD is a NAND Flash storage device. A SATA 3 Gb/s interface connects to
the SSD externally and communicates with the controller. The controller manages data
transfer to and from the NAND Flash array.
