Pomona JEDEC Test Clips

.025” Lead Pitch

These new test clips provide the user with an

easy means to connect instrumentation to the

fine pitch plastic QFP chip leads.

•

Interfaces with high density JEDEC PQFP

chip leads.

Locking feature insures positive retention on

the chip in either vertical or horizontal

position.

Two templates are included for pin

numbering. One template is for pin #1 top

left, the other is for pin #1 top center.

Gold plated contacts for the chip leads and

the connector pins assure noise free

connection

Pomona's JEDEC test clips are perfect for

emulation, field service testing, failure analysis,

and for use with logic analyzers. The patented

locking mechanism holds the clip on the device

by gripping the chip body at the end of each

lead

pattern.

Each contact is individually cantilevered to assure positive contact. These clips must use flying leads that are no more

than .075" Dia. Pomona 5746, (.075" diameter) flying leads, are available in ten colors. Three other types of interfaces

are available for connection to your instruments.
