Engineering Specification
Crimp-Type Snap Plug Connectors shall, electrically and mechanically,
connect permanently to a pre-stripped end of a stranded copper wire, and
have a round tongue portion for mating with a Snap Receptacle in a separable,
reusable manner.
The connector line shall offer tongue variations (0.156” and 0.180” diameter)
and barrel variations in wire (AWG) size (22-18, 16-4, 12-10) and construction
(vinyl insulated, nylon insulated with insulation grip.).
The separable connector formed by the paired Male Snap Plug and Female
Snap Receptacle may require a suitable strain relief to prevent accidental
separation.
Shelf Life &
Storage
This product has a 5-year shelf life from date of manufacture when
stored in a humidity controlled storage (50°F/10°C to 80°F/27°C and <75%
relative humidity).
