Input Function
Row/column addresses are multiplexed on the same pins. PN suffix-
CTx (128Mb SDRAM): Row address: A0~A11, Column address: A0~A9.
DTx (256Mb SDRAM): Row address: A0~A12, Column address: A0~A9.
ETx (512Mb SDRAM): Row address: A0~A12, Column address: A0~A9,
A11
Selects which bank to apply Active, Read, Write, or Precharge command.
Active on the positive-going edge to sample all inputs.
Masks system clock to freeze operation from the next clock cycle. Provides
low power operating modes. To exit low power modes, CKE should be
enabled 1CLK+tss prior to valid command. Input buffers are disabled for low
standby power. CKE1 is used on dual rank modules only.
Disables or enables device operation by masking or enabling all inputs
except CLK, CKE and DQM. #CS1 and #CS3 are used on dual rank
modules only.
Latches row addresses on the positive going edge of the CLK with #RAS
low. Enables row access & precharge.
Latches column addresses on the positive going edge of the CLK with #CAS
low. Enables column access.
Enables write operation and row precharge. Latches data in starting from
#CAS, #WE active.
The module register operates in transparent mode when REGE is low.
When REGE is high or floating, the module operates in registered mode. In
registered mode, the Address and control inputs are latched if CLK is held at
a high or low logic level. The inputs are stored in the latch/flip-flop on the
rising edge of CLK. REGE is tied to VCC through 10k pullup.
Masks data inputs during a Write cycle if DQM is high (Byte masking).
During a Read cycle, provides Output Enable. Data output buffers are Hi-Z if
DQM is high (2-clock latency).
Data inputs/outputs are multiplexed on the same pins.
Check bits for ECC.

SPD Clock
Assigns an address to the SPD device. Hardwire “strapped” on the system
motherboard based on the physical DIMM socket.
Pin is not connected.
Power and ground for the input buffers and the core logic.
