Introduction
The CEC CSC3720 high-speed USB On-The-Go (OTG)
embedded system integrated controller is designed for data
system with cards and embedded flash control combined
with voice recording function. It is built-in dual 480Mbps
high-speed USB OTG, dual SD/MMC/MS series card
interface (support SanDisk iNAND and eMMC) and
ADPCM for recording function, Uart/I
2
C/SPI/PWM serial
interface, and up to 10 configurable I/O ports. It has special
mechanism for products with fast data transfers requirement
with either two storage devices. With dual ports capability, it
can easily connect two USB devices or two memory cards
and interoperability with each others.
About USB-OTG
USB OTG is a new supplement to the USB 2.0 specification.
It challenges the capability of existing mobile devices and
USB peripherals by giving them an added host capability for
connection to other USB devices. These new features were
needed to upgrade standard USB technology for mobile,
peripheral devices and gateway bridge, These new features
include the additional host capability, smaller connectors,
and low power output.
